Meet Chris

Cristobal "Chris" Padron . Circuit Court Judge Candidate

About the Candidate

A Son of This Community, Committed to Its Justice

Cristobal "Chris" Padron was born and raised in Miami-Dade County — a community he has called home for 42 years. As the son of Cuban immigrants who fled oppression in search of freedom, fairness, and the rule of law, Chris carries a deep, personal understanding of what justice means to families who depend on it most.

After earning his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in 2010, Chris was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011 and has spent 15 years advocating for clients across family, civil, probate, appellate, and federal matters.

In that time, he has tried 407 bench trials as first chair, argued 23 appellate cases, and handled hundreds of hearings — building the kind of practical, courtroom-tested experience that a judge must have from day one.

Chris believes that justice is not just about outcomes — it is about the process. Every litigant who steps into a courtroom deserves to feel heard, treated fairly, and confident that the judge before them is neutral, prepared, and genuinely committed to getting it right.

Chris Padron with his family

I want to be a judge to make the overall experience for lawyers, litigants, and all professionals better — and to restore faith in our system of government.
